Sweet Hibiscus

Our Sweet Hibiscus has slightly sweet and tart, lemon-berry notes that will be a favorite for chefs and bartenders alike. Created from the extract of the edible hibiscus flower, the floral aromatics of this flavor will inspire tropical creations from beverage to sorbet.

Serving size: 1 drink

    • 1 1/4 oz. Hendricks Gin
    • 1 oz. The Perfect Purée Pear Puree,  thawed
    • 1 oz. Chamomile Hibiscus Simple Syrup
    • 1 oz. fresh squeezed or comparable white grapefruit juice
    • club soda
    • spiral of grapefruit or lemon rind (garnish)

1. Fill shaker with ice. Combine all ingredients except club soda in shaker. Shake and strain over new ice in over-sized rocks glass or highball. Balance with club soda and lightly stir a few times to combine. Garnish with spiral of grapefruit or lemon rind (if using packaged grapefruit juice). Enjoy every last drop!

Chamomile Hibiscus Simple Syrup:
    • 2 oz. The Perfect Purée Sweet Hibiscus Blend,  thawed
    • 3 chamomile tea bags
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 1/4 oz. water

1. Bring water to boil. Add tea bags and allow to steep for five minutes. After removing tea bags, stir in sugar until dissolved. Stir in Perfect Puree Sweet Hibiscus. Chill syrup until cool before using, and store excess in sealed container.
