The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley supports its local community. Its founder, Tracy Hayward is active in several local charitable and nonprofit organizations. Ms. Hayward has a keen interest in advancing the educational needs of underprivileged children and meeting special needs within the Napa Community and beyond.
Through the Napa Valley Community Foundation the company supports many local programs and charities on an ongoing basis. Some of these include the Community Impact Fund & In School and Out of School Fund; Napa Valley Youth Symphony, American Canyon Middle School Accelerated Reader Program, the Silverado - Napa County Chapter of the American Red Cross; Leadership Napa Valley; Operation Freedoms Paws (matching military veterans with dogs; Birth Choice Pregnancy Centers; Napa Valley Symphony League; Napa Emergency Women's Services; Napa Food Bank. Additionally, through the Napa Valley Community Foundation it supports Cope Family Center and Ms. Hayward sits on its Women2Woman Campaign committee.
Independently, the company has made donations to many far reaching programs that touch the lives of children and others. In 2011, it made charitable contributions to Moni’s Kids- an artist’s outreach to an orphanage in Haiti; USO; Napa Valley Republican Women; American Cancer Society; Hospice of Napa Valley; FirstGiving.com; Kappa Alpha Theta; Music in the Vineyards; Napa Women’s Club’s; Leigh University – Fioretti Family Scholarship Fund.
The company also participates in regional Share Our Strength/Taste of the Nation events which aid in stamping out childhood hunger in the respective community of each event. In 2012, the company will participate in Chicago, Las Vegas, Houston, Miami and Orlando.
Ms. Hayward sits on the Napa Valley Symphony Endowment Board.
