Grilled Beef Brochette with Curied Green Apple Sauce Servings: 18 Serving size: 1 skewer Preparation time: 20 minutes |
| | 3 lbs. beef sirloin steak or boned, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 3-inch strips |
| | bamboo skewers soaked in water for 3 hours |
| | 12 oz. The Perfect Purée Green Apple, thawed |
| | 6 oz. peanut butter |
| | 2 oz. The Perfect Purée Ginger, thawed |
| | 4 - 6 tsp. curry powder |
| | 2 oz. fresh lime juice |
| | Optional: 1 tbsp. bottled hot pepper sauce to taste |
| Method: | |
| 1. | Preheat broiler or grill. Thread meat onto skewers, ribbon like. Place on lightly oiled broiler pan or grill. Broil or grill 5-8 minutes, turning once. |
| 2. | In food processor, place remaining ingredients, cover and process until smooth. |
